Raffaella Hilty

| Analytical Psychologist & Psychotherapist (BPC, UKCP, IAAP)

Initial Consultation

The initial appointment is an opportunity for you to tell me about yourself, understand more about the service I offer, and decide whether to continue.

Duration of the sessions

Psychotherapy sessions last 50 minutes.
I work on an open-ended basis, usually long term, but the length of the work commitment can be reviewed at any stage.

If, after the initial appointment, you decide to continue, you will be asked to commit to attending regular sessions. Generally, once weekly sessions are the norm, but I also work at a higher weekly frequency.

Cancellations and Missed Sessions

If, after the initial appointment you decided to continue, we would agree a regular day and time which will be set aside for you as a dedicated on-going slot, and so all sessions, whether attended or not, will need to be paid for. If I am given notice, I will try to offer a replacement session within the same week, but if rescheduling was not possible the full fee will be payable. The cancellation notice period will depend on session frequency and will be discussed and agreed with you.

Confidentiality & Ethics

The content of psychotherapy sessions is strictly confidential and I place the highest importance to the maintenance of clients’ confidentiality. In this and other ethical regards I abide by the Ethical Guidelines of the British Psychoanalytic Council and of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy.

Client Records and Data Protection

I keep confidential records about clients. All records are kept secure and subject to the Data Protection Act 1998.
